BEGIN!

Welcome to our tutorial!!

This page has been designed as an aid to students taking the Discrete Structures course. The following information will help you navigate this tutorial to your best advantage.

START FROM THE BEGINNING!  If you have already learned this information thoroughly, you can use the Class Agenda to skip to whatever sections you need. But be aware that much of the information in any chapter is dependent upon previous chapters.

LOOK FOR REVIEW LINKS. If you are unsure of the terminology or procedures, look for linked words that will take you to the review section covering that topic. We've designed this so that you can do a brief review of previous information whenever your memory is a little fuzzy on details, and then use the Back button to return to your section.

USE THE TOPIC LINKS. At the top of each review is a list of the topics being covered, which also act as links directly to that topic.

TAKE THE QUIZZES THAT ARE PROVIDED:

Periodically, problems will be presented to you, along with links to the answers. Try to find the solutions first, then compare your answer with ours.

This icon will take you to a page of questions regarding the specific material you are studying. Try to answer the questions yourself first, then use the solutions icon to get the answers.

  Take a Section Quiz!!

Every few sections you will see this link. It will take you to a special quiz page that asks questions from several review sections. Just follow instructions, and use the results to gauge your progress.

OTHER ICONS

For those of you who don't know, this is the hand of the God from the Cistine Chapel. (If you still don't know what we're talking about, consider taking an art history course!) This will return you to whatever page you came from.

This takes you back to the top of whatever page you are currently viewing.
